The Early Learning Resource Center Region 5 is reopening its satellite offices by appointment only for families and professionals interested in accessing services and support.

Allegheny Child Care is a free search tool provided to caregivers of young children to locate available child care spots.

Beginning July 6, 2021 the Early Learning Resource Center Region 5 will reopen its Wood Street office by appointment only for families and professionals interested in accessing services and support.

CCW reimbursements will be increased to the 40th percentile of the market rate for child care in the provider’s region, up from approximately the 25th percentile where most of Pennsylvania’s child care providers currently sit.

The Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) Region 5 and the Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD) have released specific actions that child care providers and staff must take if there is a confirmed or probable positive case of COVID-19 in a child or adult who has been present in their early learning program.

Out of an abundance of caution with the rising COVID-19 cases in Allegheny County, the ELRC Region 5 and it's satellite offices will remain closed to the public for in-person services.
