Providers Must Apply for PA NAPSACC Grant By October 2
Licensed child care providers can help young children build healthier eating habits by applying for the 2026-2027 PA NAPSACC Wellness Grant.
The Pennsylvania Nutrition and Physical Activity Self-Assessment for Child Care (PA NAPSACC) grant helps providers to strengthen nutrition and physical activity practices and policies while helping children to build healthy habits.
Application Process
Applications must be received by midnight on Friday, October 2. Participating programs can receive:
Individualized technical assistance
Support from a child care health consultant at no cost
Guidance with self-assessment, action planning, policy development, and continuous quality improvement
Up to $500 in grant funding upon completion of grant requirements
An informational webinar will take place for participants on Tuesday, October 27 at 12:45 p.m. There are 75 spots available in the program, and enrollment will be on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 12 a.m. on Monday, November 2.
Past participants may apply, but priority will be given to programs that have participated no more than once since 2020.
To be eligible, providers must serve a minimum of four children, ages 3 to 5 years, in Pennsylvania.
