The Children's Museum of Pittsburgh will host its annual kindergarten readiness event on Saturday, August 15.

Kindergarten, Here I Come, which runs from 9 a.m. to noon, is an event during which rising kindergartners and their families can climb aboard a school bus, try a fun arts, and making activities and explore the museum.
The event will also include a performance of "Rhea the Great Detective and the Case of the Missing Mrs. Bearington," an interactive children's play written and directed by local author Dominique Briggs. Parents will get resources from a variety of helpful partner organizations.
Kindergarten, Here I Come is free for each rising kindergarten students and one accompanying caregiver. It is $8 per person for additional family members (children under age 2 get in free).
