Bridge Replacement Project Will Close 376 Parkway East for 25 Days Starting in July

A bridge replacement project will close a section of I-376 Parkway East for 25 consecutive days starting on July 10.

The parkway will be closed in both directions between the Squirrel Hill Tunnel and the Edgewood/Swissvale interchange (Exit 77) from Friday, July 10 to Thursday, August 6.

PennDOT said it was replacing the Commercial Street Bridge on 376 Parkway East to improve safety, reliability, and mobility for Pittsburgh commuters.

Detour routes will be available in the area, but commuters should expect heavy delays. For traffic updates, dial 511, download the 511PA mobile app or visit 511PA’s website.
