The principal purpose of the Summer High School U partnerships is to provide primarily African American Pittsburgh high school students with their first college experience. This opportunity aims to provide the rising 10th-, 11th-, and 12th-graders with greater motivation, skills and purpose as they return to their high school classrooms in the fall.

Classes will take place at Carlow University, Chatham University, and Community College of Allegheny County. Selected students will have class, tutoring, and work requirements that they will be expected to fulfill.

The 2021 Summer High School U will operate from Monday, June 14, 2021 through Friday, August 6, 2021. Students need to be available for all program days.
