Stories Like Me and Friends of the Hearing Center at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh will hold an event to celebrate National Speech-Language-Hearing Month on Thursday, May 15.

The free event will include snacks, activities, resources, story time, raffle prizes, and an ASL interpreter. It will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Stories Like Me, located at 4381 Murray Avenue.

The event will enable participants - who include educators, families, and children - to make new friends and learn how to best support those who have hearing loss.
