Safe Sleep in Child Care

Trying Together, ELRC Region 5’s quality partner, will lead a class on how to create safer sleep environments for infants in early childhood education settings on Tuesday, August 18.

Safe Sleep in Child Care is an online training that will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. PQAS and Act 48 hours will be available for attendees.

The class will teach participants to:

  • Recognize the risk factors associated with Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)

  • Implement safe sleep practices that meet current recommendations and licensing standards

  • Create a safe sleep environment that helps protects infants in your care
