Reopening of School and Planning Remote Learning in After School Care

As schools reopen, students will experience a variety of learning methods based upon each local school and health district plan. Some schools may be teaching in a remote manner, while youth participate in afterschool programs all day.

Join PSAYDN, PENN SACCA and The Pennsylvania Key and explore planning strategies for instructional supports such as creating a safe and healthy environment, instrumental technology tools for student success and maintaining a school, after school, and family engagement communications system to support youth.

Presented by Rachel Strucko, executive director, SHINE After school Program; Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center; Stefanie Camoni, program quality assessor, The Pennsylvania Key; James Powell, business manager, The Pennsylvania Key; and Sarah Holland, special assistant for family engagement, Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL).

Act 48 and PQAS credits will be available.
