The McKeesport Area School District will hold a Let's Get Ready for Kindergarten event on Friday, May 1.

The event will run from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Twin Rivers Elementary School and Francis McClure Elementary School. It is intended for future kindergarten students and their caregivers.

Attendees will learn essential skills, meet teachers, receive readiness tips and resources, and discover what to expect when they start kindergarten. They will also be able to visit tiger activity stations and have the opportunity to register.
